Paranoia
Rebecca could feel the paranoia creeping in, like a shadow she couldn’t shake. It gnawed at her, consuming her thoughts, making her second-guess every glance, every word, every silence.
She told herself it was just her imagination, that she was overthinking things, but the unease refused to subside. It clung to her like a wet blanket, heavy and suffocating. If she had believed that time would bring clarity, she was terribly mistaken. Beneath the surface of her otherwise peaceful life, something darker was brewing.
