In late 2017, television personality Joy Behar invested $2.4 million in an apartment located in the Upper West Side. The host of “The View” is a native of Williamsburg and enjoys living in New York City, as this was her second purchase in the Empire State area. In September 2016, she had previously spent $4.75 million on a Sag Harbor house.
It appears that Behar wanted to reduce her commute to work, which led to her decision to buy the second 1,314-square-foot three-bedroom condo just four blocks away from the ABC studio where “The View” is filmed. In 2021, Behar firmly denied reports and rumors of her retiring from “The View” such as speculation about her leaving the show.
