However, the comedian is also into real estate investing, as she has a penchant for home flipping around the California area. In fact, Ellen may have already made her biggest purchase yet in 2019 — a $27-million Santa Barbara house! The 8,188-square-foot Asian- and Balinese-inspired residence was originally at $35 million upon listing. So, Ellen and her wife Portia de Rossi actually got a big discount for this acquisition. Imagine living in a home overlooking the ocean!
