Yoko Ono – Now 89 years old
A popular public figure in the entertainment industry, Yoko Ono, is a Japanese multimedia artist, songwriter, singer, and peace activist. In the year 1960, she started to work with some of New York City’s downtown artists. Then later, in 1969, Yoko got married to John Lennon, who was a member of the Beatles. After tying the knot, the duo formed the Plastic Ono Band in the same year.
It was then that Ono came to the limelight and was counted among the celebrities. Despite being 89 years old, even today, the peace activist fights for human rights and works on philanthropic works.
