All aboard
With tearful goodbyes and hopeful hearts, over 80 islanders joined the Navy crew on the ship. Leaving the only home they’d known was emotional, but excitement for the future filled the air.
The pilot, ever their steady leader, offered comfort and encouragement as they began the journey to a new life.
