A Cryptic Warning
“I’ve seen this before,” the vet murmured, barely above a whisper. The words sent a chill down Matthew’s spine. “Seen what before?” he demanded. The vet’s response was vague and ominous: “They don’t belong here.” Matthew’s stomach dropped.
