Elizabeth Berkley will always be remembered as Spano on the hit 90s television show “Saved by the Bell.” The veteran began her career when she was nine, but she didn’t break through until she was cast in the mega-hit sitcom. After starring in “Showgirls,” her agent dropped her, a significant setback for her career.
But she got back up and has been a TV host, author of a best-seller, and contestant on a reality program. She had been out of the spotlight for quite some time, but she returned to TV in the “Saved by the Bell” remake 30 years after the original series.
