Twiggy – Born in 1949
Twiggy rose to fame in the ’60s as one of the most famous faces of the fashion industry. Her modeling career lasted only a few years, but she is nevertheless recognized as one of the industry’s icons.

Soon after her success in the fashion industry, she began a career as a singer and actor, recording multiple albums, winning two Golden Globes for her performance in 1971’s “The Boy Friend,” and earning a Tony nomination for “My One and Only” in 1983. But Twiggy’s work is far from done. She has maintained a high profile in recent years by branching out into hosting and design, among other fields.
