Joanna Lumley – Born in 1946
Joanna Lumley has had a legendary career spanning over four decades, but she is probably best known today for her portrayal of Patsy in the sitcom “Absolutely Fabulous.” Lumley began her career in 1969 and has since been in more than fifty films and television shows, such as “Sapphire & Steel,” “The New Avengers,” “Sensitive Skin,” “Finding Alice,” and “Jam & Jerusalem.”
Between July and August of 1973, the actress starred on “Coronation Street” as Elaine Perkins. Even now, she keeps herself active by hosting various lifestyle programs that take her all around the world. Not surprisingly, retiring is not high on the list of priorities for this actress.
